I'm Gregory Hitt, a family law attorney in Austin, Texas. I represent people in Travis, Williamson, Hays and Bastrop counties in issues such as divorce, child custody and visitation agreements, relocation disputes, prenuptial agreements and estate planning.

I care about the problems my clients face in divorce and other family law matters. However, I am able to also keep enough professional distance so I can advise my clients based on the facts of their case and not upon emotion.

I have more than 10 years of experience representing clients before courts in Texas in Travis, Williamson, Hays and Bastrop counties. While no lawyer can guarantee a result in a legal case, given the facts, I have good sense of what a fair outcome would be, allowing the client to evaluate the risks and possible outcomes of a hearing. This helps me negotiate the best possible resolution to your case. It also helps me advise you on when you should stand your ground.

An out-of-court resolution is frequently in the best interest of all parties in a domestic dispute, particularly when children are involved. However, when litigation is necessary, I am an aggressive lawyer who will represent your interests in court.
